Sarita, a wife and mother of three, is the artist behind “Sarita Dolls” Her love of children is reflected in each lifelike infant she creates. Each sculpt is first made by hand in polymer clay. No molds are used to create the original baby. She then makes her own molds of the original baby and it is cast in very soft solid platinum silicone. These cuddly infants are then “brought to life” by layers of painting and, if the baby has hair, it is micro rooted using baby soft mohair. The completed infant is cuddled to be sure it has “just the right feel”.
Sarita lives part time in the U.S. and part time in India.
Due to her travels, sales of her dolls will be handled through Arnold
Babies.
